This Privacy Policy refers to the use of our website. 2. Collection and storage of personal data and the type and purpose of their use

a) Log data when you visit our website

When you call up our website information is transferred to us automatically through the browser used on your device. When you call up our website, the following data are collected without any action on your part:

  • Date and time of the query
  • Content of the request (specific page)
  • Access status/HTTP status code
  • Transferred data volume
  • Referrer website of the enquiry
  • Browser
  • Language and version of the browser software
  • Operating system and its interface

The specified data are processed by us for the following purposes:

  • To guarantee the convenient use of our website
  • To evaluate system security and stability
  • For additional administrative purposes

The legal basis for the data processing is GDPR Article 6 (1), Sentence 1 (f). Our legitimate interest ensues from the aforementioned purposes of the data collection. In no cases do we use the aforementioned data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you as an individual.

b) When using a contact form

When you make contact with us via a contact form, a chat function, or via mail, the data communicated by you (e.g. your email address, your name, your telephone number, your address and any other information provided by you) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions or to process your enquiry.
The data processing undertaken for the purpose of making contact with us is performed pursuant to GDPR Article 6 (1) Sentence 1 (a) on the basis of freely given consent. We erase any data that occurs in this context once their storage is no longer required, or we restrict the processing in the case of statutory retention obligations.

c) When registering for our Newsletter

With your consent you may subscribe to our Newsletter through which we provide you with up-to-date information on printing technologies, new service developments and interesting offers from innovatiQ GmbH + Co KG. For registration to our Newsletter we use the double opt-in procedure. This means that after your registration we send an email to you to the specified email address in which we request confirmation that you wish to be sent the Newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within 7 days, your information will be automatically erased. We also save the IP addresses you used and the times of the registration and the confirmation. The purpose of the procedure is to prove your registration and, if applicable, clarify a possible misuse of your personal data. After your confirmation we shall save your email address and the other information that you transfer to us within the scope of the Newsletter registration, for the purpose of sending you the Newsletter.

The legal basis for the aforementioned data processing is GDPR Article 6 (1), Sentence 1 (a).

You can withdraw your consent for the sending of the Newsletter at any time and deregister for the Newsletter. You can state the withdrawal by clicking on the link provided in every Newsletter-email or by sending an email to info@innovatiQ.com or to the contact data specified in the Legal Notice.

d) General note regarding the obligation to provide data

You are neither legally nor contractually under the obligation to provide us with your personal data.

3. Use of service providers, disclosure of data

We engage external service providers to provide support and to perform administrative tasks on our website. These service providers may have occasional access to your personal data. The service providers process your personal data exclusively on a contract-basis and in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with these data privacy provisions and the relevant statutory laws.

A transfer of your personal data to other third-parties will only take place if the transfer is specifically stated in this Privacy Policy or occurs due to one of the following purposes:

  • The disclosure is legally admissible and required pursuant to GDPR Article 6 (1), Sentence 1 (b) for the processing of contractual relationships with you. Personal data of the user are transferred by us in the following scope to service providers in countries outside of the EU/EEA: USA.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and assigned to the browser you use and through which specific information flows to us. However, this does not mean that we obtain immediate knowledge of your identity as a result.

5. Web Analysis with Google Analytics

6. Social Media

On our website we use links to the social networks Facebook and LinkedIn and to the video portal YouTube. Social networks are only incorporated into our website as links to the corresponding services. No data are transferred to the services if you do not click on the respective graphics. After clicking on the incorporated graphics you will be forwarded to the website of the respective provider. User information may then be transferred to the respective provider.

7. Use of Google Maps

Our website uses the “Google Maps and Route Planner” function from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”), to display and calculate geographical information and travel routes. Data relating to your use of this website may be transferred to Google through Google Maps and collected and used by Google. You can prevent such a data transfer by deactivating “Javascript” in your browser. However, if you do this no maps can be displayed. Through the use of this website and the non-activation of “Javascript” you express your consent to your data being processed by Google for the above purposes. 8. Use of Facebook Like Plugins

This website uses plugins from the provider Facebook.com and which are provided by the company Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304 in the USA. Users of our website on which the Facebook “Like” plugin is installed are hereby notified that the plugin establishes a connection to Facebook which then makes a transfer to your browser so that the plugin appears on the website. Furthermore, by using the website data are transferred to Facebook servers which include information about your website visits to our home page. The consequence of this for logged-in Facebook users is that the usage data are assigned to your personal Facebook account. As soon as you actively use the Facebook plugin as a logged-in Facebook user (e.g. by clicking on the “Like” button or using the comment form) these data are transferred to your Facebook account and published. 9. Use of the Twitter Share Button

We have integrated the web messaging service twitter.com into our website. This is provided by Twitter Inc.,1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Twitter offers the “Tweet” function. This is used to publish short messages, also with website links, in one’s own Twitter account. When you use the “Tweet” function from Twitter on our websites, the respective website will be linked with your account on Twitter and publicly disclosed there. Data are hereby also transferred to Twitter. We do not receive any information about the content of the transmitted data and their use by Twitter. 10. Use of the LinkedIn Share Button

On our website we use the plugins from the social network LinkedIn operated by LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (henceforth “LinkedIn”). When you visit our website the plugin establishes a connection between your respective internet browser and the LinkedIn server and where applicable transfers your IP address. When you click on the LinkedIn “Recommend Button” and if you are also logged into your LinkedIn account, you are able to post content from our website onto your LinkedIn profile page. 11. Intention to transfer data to a third country

Within the context of customer communication we also use various Cloud services, amongst others from providers with their head offices in the USA who also process personal data. We expressly point out that no adequacy decision has yet been issued by the European Commission with regard to the USA. We will only then transfer personal data to a provider in the USA if this transfer is admissible in conformity with the Privacy Shield Agreement and/or the transfer is legitimised from a privacy perspective through standard data privacy clauses (standard contractual clauses). 12. Use of XING Recommend function

This website uses functions from XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Every visit to our website which is equipped with such a function triggers a connection to XING servers from the browser you use. To our knowledge personal data relating to a visit to our website are not stored in this process. Nor does XING store IP addresses or evaluate usage behaviour via the use of cookies in connection with the “XING Share Button”. 13. Your rights

You have the right:

  • Pursuant to GDPR Article 15 to request information about your personal data processed by us.   • Pursuant to GDPR Article 16 to immediately request the rectification of incorrect information or the completion of your personal data stored with us,
  • Pursuant to GDPR Article 17 to request the erasure of your personal data stored with us, unless the processing is required for the exercise of a right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for grounds of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims,
  • Pursuant to GDPR Article 18 to request the restriction of processing of your personal data, if the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you reject their erasure and we no longer require the data, however you require these for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have filed an objection to the processing pursuant to GDPR Article 21,
  • Pursuant to GDPR Article 20 to receive your personal data which you previously provided to us in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another controller,
  • Pursuant to GDPR Article 7 (3) to withdraw your previously granted consent to us at any time. The result of this is that we are no longer permitted to continue the data processing that was based on this consent.

Right to object

Pursuant to GDPR Article 21 (2) you may object to the processing of your data for the purposes of direct marketing at any time without stating a reason. 14. Data security

In order to protect the security of your data during the transfer, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods. We also utilise all appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against random or intentional manipulations, partial or full loss, destruction or against the unauthorised access of third parties. Our security measures are continuously being improved in line with technological advances. However, we cannot assume any guarantee for the security of data transmitted by you as a user.
